Visiting Aunt H for a week!

After we spent 2 1/2 weeks in UT, we headed up to Idaho and spent a week with my sister and her family. Helping them move, going to the movie theatre, visiting my FAVORITE store ever ~ Porter’s is a really cool craft store! We went to the water park and lots more!

Then we headed to Gma Grace’s house for a week. We went fishing, and visited the Fair while we were there. It’s always fun to visit Gma. We saw lots of family there as well, feels like home when we visit that Ward on Sunday’s. People I have known since I was born. There were a few more parades during fair days as well!

After lots of fun at Aunt H’s house..we headed to Gma Grace’s!!

FHE - Ancestry

We did have a FHE where Gma took us to the little cemeteries where a lot of our ancestors are buried and we talked about them. That was such a neat opportunity! Many of my ancestors were some of the original Pioneers that crossed the plains on their way to Utah. The Pioneer spirit was so strong in these places.

We ended the night with some AMAZING ice cream from a little Drive-In. It was DELICIOUS!!

My First Quilt!!

I’ve been traveling the last 2 months..visiting family throughout UT, ID and AZ. It’s been a blast and I’ve been crafting some there as well!!

I sewed my very first quilt. I love the way it turned out. My mom is a great quilter, and it has always been some what intimidating for me..but, with mom and Gma there to call on if I needed, I was determined to do it. It only took about 3 days once I got going too! My great aunt has a Gammill quilting machine, so that was fun to use..once I got the hang of it! :)

Swimming in Lehi

Lehi, UT has an amazing indoor/outdoor swimming pool! It was so fun to meet up with our cousins there! Had slides, a lazy river, lap pool, climbing ..thing, baby area, and lots more for only about $4. We had a blast!
