“G, wake up! Today is Easter. Do you think the Easter Bunny came?”.. “Ya mom, lets go see!” .. hurrying down the stairs, excitedly “LOOK MOM! The pretend Easter Bunny DID come!!!!!!” .. laughingly,.. “No G, I think that was the REAL Easter Bunny!”, “Oh, yeah mom!, it was!” hehehe!
Dying Eggs!
It’s been a while I guess! Whit and Kate keep bugging me to update, but for a while, through the cold months there wasn’t much to say..we didn’t do a whole lot. Them my computer was down, so here I am. J surprised me w/a NEW computer!! HOORAY! When I got back from mom and dad’s, it was hidden away tucked in my lap top bag.. I had the old one (falling apart) that I was trying to use for a couple days till I found my new one. SURPRISE!! We had been talking about it, and I knew he had been researching it, but I didn’t know he had purchased anything. Anyway. I was/AM excited! I just have to get use to it now..buttons are different! Thanks babe! I love you!
Last month was a busy, fun month! We spent (the kids and I) About 2 1/2 weeks of it between mine and J’s parent’s houses while J took finals. He ROCKED!! AND he got his board scores back f/taking boards in March and did GREAT!!! on them as well!! I miss not being home, but he needs the kids and I to go so he can have a quiet house and good rest to do well. It has paid off over the past few years, and we are happy to accommodate! The kids love visiting Grandma’s and Grandpa’s. We had a good time, and when J was done, he got to join us for a few days! Now we’re back home and trying to get settled back into life!
Easter was good. We had a General Conference barbecue with a bunch of our friends, and an Easter Egg hunt. then when we got to Mimi and PopPop’s house we had another, then another at Yaya and Papa’s house! So, E had it down pretty well by the end!

Egg Hunt #2 at Mimi & PopPop’s w/another little friend. Uncle Jason asked if this was a “Hippie Egg Hunt” because a lot of the eggs were stuffed w/Carrots and Grapes and Crackers rather than Candy and Sugar. HAHA. It was funny, but I thought a GREAT idea, as I think my son may be developing a cavity we need to get checked out! Easter dinner was delicious! My folks joined us at my in-law’s for dinner, (they are good friends) then the girl’s plaid cards till late into the night!
J’s becoming a PRO at hiding eggs..he’s done it quite a few times!
Some friends in my parents ward have an “Oven-Side” once a month. They all go out to their house and have a potluck and FHE minute, the kids play while the grown-ups visit. We joined them for it that day and..they had another egg hunt!
