Family
A few weeks ago we got to go to J’s parents house and visit for a few days. His brother “E” and his family were here from Chihuahua, Mexico. It’s the first time his wife and sons have been able to come. They had some opposition in getting here, but it was such a wonderful experience. I hope there will be many more opportunities like this!
The whole family together at last!
Fernanda..beautiful girl! Azalea and Mom
The boys were so cute together. They couldn’t understand each other, but they both have younger siblings that can’t talk yet either.. so they figured out how to communicate!
Gabriel, Gideon, Emanuel, (Ella was asleep)
J served his mission in Argentina.. so he speaks Castilian, ..which is close enough to Spanish that he can talk and communicate. E served his mission in Mexico so he of course knows Spanish.. but when those two boys weren’t around, we had a computer w/google translate on pretty regularly. It was a wonderful experience. We miss them so much and wish we lived closer. I have a new resolve to learn Spanish as well!

Update
I didn’t realize it has been so long since I posted..weird.. and to think I use to post almost daily! Anyway.. We’ve been pretty busy.
Jared is set to graduate in Dec.. Just 2 (TWO) months from now! CRAZY weird feeling! We have no idea still what lies in store for us..so incase anyone is wondering..we still don’t know..which is a bit nerve wrecking..but we’re taking it one day at a time. Things will work themselves out, I know that.. we just have to be patient and keep doing our part.
In the mean time, we are keeping busy!
Jared is working lots of hours in the clinic on adjusting people. He has two classes he is taking and one of those is his last in order to get his Bachelors along with his Doctorate come graduation in Dec. He is working hard and I am so proud of him!
Gid is 4.. and such a great little guy. So full of energy and fun. He LOVES playing with his friends outside, and I have a hard time telling him no, because the cold weather will be here all too soon and then he won’t be able to as much. We’ve had some friends more in (back in) to our complex and the boys have really taken to each other! Of course Ella isn’t far behind! Gid also loves Preschool and started reading a couple weeks ago! WOW!!
We were looking at some cards..You have to find 3 cards that have numbers on them. One is written ONE, one has the number 1. and the last has whatever quantity of object (ie. 1 honey pot)..so you have to match the 3 cards, then turn them over and it’s a little puzzle. Anyway, we did the first few together.. then I said, “okay, what does this say?”… “sssss—iiiiiiii-xx, six!”, “What!”, “SIX” , “ya!! That is right Gideon! You did it, you just read your first word!!” I was SO happy and excited for the little guy I was jumping and clapping and telling him what a great job he did! So we continued to read..he read seven, ten, zero..then I pulled out a piece of paper.. he read: Jared, sister, mom, dad, brother..~Then he wanted to write.. he wrote Ella! (I didn’t even know he knew how to spell her name, but he did! and wrote it correctly!) Then he wrote his name and said “mom, what does this one say?”.. “um, that one says, Gideon!”.. “ya mom that’s right! You did it! You did it, you read the word” ~all this while he is jumping and clapping and patting me on the back!lol!! okay, so maybe I got carried away.. and he was hilarious! :)
He has also been into magic tricks and telling jokes lately! “mom, why does the duck know how to fly? (flapping his arms like wings and jumping so I know).. “um, I don’t know, why?” .. “because it does!” bwahahahahahahaha.. lol! Honestly.. the more I hear this joke, the funnier it is! His magic tricks are to hold up 2 fingers (one on each hand) and say..what is 1+1?..then making one finger jump to the other hand.. then 2+2, 2+1, 2+3.. he’s pretty good at it! And his has a little sliding coin trick thing too! Like Papa, like Grandson! It’s pretty cute!
Ella knows a magic trick too! I tell her to show me her magic trick and she covers her eyes, then says “BOO”! Too cute! :) She is an ornery, feisty little girl. Today at church she was half way down the hall and I told her to come back because we need to go the other direction, she said “no, mon” telling me to come that way… I said, “No, you come on! We need to go this way”.. “no! MON”.. and proceeded to yell to me to come that way.. everyone in between us laughing!lol! It was pretty funny, but she was quite determined! She escapes out the back door and is down the hill often enough before I know she’s even out the door.. She also knows how to pull the stool over to the counter and scale it to climb up and get herself a cup, turn on the water and get a drink for herself! For crying out loud! She JUST turned TWO, six weeks ago. SLOW down little girl! :) I do not look forward to the teenage years with this child.. but she does know who is ultimate boss.. not that she obeys that all the time, but she knows. I love her so much and know that in many ways I am just as determined as she is. She is definitely a blessing in my life, and I feel that with her strength and determination, she will be a strong leader when she is older! I absolutely LOVE watching her and Gideon together. Whether they are playing, or helping each other get breakfast out in the morning, or just the way they hold hands and then one of them holds mine while we are crossing a street. They are such good friends! Ella loves being a girl! She loves baby dolls and brushing her hair, and knows when she looks especially pretty!
Myself, I have been keeping busy! I am still in the nursery and serving on the RS Board for Weekday meetings (Enrichment Nights). We are busy getting ready for Super Saturday as well as Christmas Dinner. I keep busy running the kids around and taking Gid to preschool 3 times/week (twice with our Mommy Preschool, and once with another homeschool group). I am mostly busy right now with my new Paparazzi Accessories Consulting business and LOVING it so far!!! :) There is so much to say and share about this company that I just won’t.. as there are other posts and my new website that will keep my updates posted! Basically, I sell jewelry and hair accessories for $5.50(after tax). CUTE, AFFORDABLE, STYLISH and TRENDY! I love it! I love the company! I love the look on people’s faces when they realize how cute and affordable it is. I love the rush of everyone wanting to see what is available and the excitement of the shows..not to mention how laid back and easy and fun the are to host and throw! anyway. that is life in a nutshell.. a rather large nutshell I guess! I am loving life and I love my family. I am so thankful to be a mom to such great kids.
night!

Paparazzi Accessories
I am a NEW Paparazzi Accessories consultant and am ECSTATIC!! I am SO excited! Just ask anyone I have talked to in the last couple weeks about it! :D It was an interesting turn of events as to how I got started and I have just felt love and guided through my whole experience thus far!
Paparazzi Accessories is a company that started a couple years ago by 2 LDS women (mom’s!). And the consulting side of it only began this past January (2011). That is also exciting to me, to be apart of this new company that is just booming! A Pioneer of sorts!
Paparazzi Accessories consists of jewelry (neckalces, bracelets, rings and more), and hair accessories (flowers, headbands, etc..) for the low cost of just $5.50(with tax). Everything is VERY affordable and VERY VERY cute!! Trendy, stylish, great cost, and what woman does not love jewelry?!!
I found it through a friend in WY whom said their was someone in KS looking for another consultant because she had so many parties booked that she couldn’t keep up with it all! “…what is this all about!?!” I asked! So I read up on it and spent about 2 days thinking and praying and texting this gal asking every question I could come up with. I thought about it and prayed about it and slept on it and when I woke up last Saturday morning (Oct 1), I felt so good about it, and have ever since!
My first party was this past Thursday night at my house! Quite a few people came, and it was so fun to watch their excitement as well..almost more than mine!..almost! There refreshments, drawings, shopping, visiting, excitement!! This is a great time for me to get started because people are starting to think about Christmas too! ![]()
Anyone interested in learning more about the Paparazzi Consultant opportunities, feel free to ask me! I’ll answer any questions I can, and those I can’t, I can get an answer within a few hours! I would love to help you sign up and get started yourself! The business is booming right now.. in UT and throughout ID, NV, AZ..and just getting bigger…the further from UT you are, the less people have heard about it, so the more opportunities there are! In KS, I’m one of just a hand full..5-10maybe!
Here are just a few things we offer.. you can see more on my facebook page! Paparazzi $5 Jewelry by Ashlee.
There is SOO much more.. and stock is constantly changing, so there is not a catalog. I don’t have all these in my inventory, but you are welcome to come see what I have any time!! :) Also, for hosting parties you can earn free accessories as well! :) They are SUPER fun and easy to throw.. let me know if you are interested!! (316)650-5551
Thanks,
Ashlee
